Mr. Enrique Morales has M.Scs. from Stanford University (USA) in Petroleum Engineering and Operations Research and a Bsc from the University of Tulsa (USA).
He spent 40 years with Royal Dutch Shell in Venezuela, USA, Australia, Syria, England and The Netherlands. Positions included Head of Reservoir Engineering, Head of Gas development, Chief Petroleum Engineer, Vice-president for Latin America Business Development and Vice President for Global Value Assurance and Business Support. In 2011, he retired from Royal Dutch Shell where he last held the job of Vice-president Reserves Assurance and Reporting for four years.
He is an Associate at SGS Horizon, Advisor at ISVA Oil and Gas Consultancy, Lecturer at the Energy Delta Institute in The Netherlands, Member of the SPE Oil and Gas Reserves Committee 2014-2017 and Steering Committee Member for the SPEE 2017 Annual Meeting. He has been a Steering Committee Member of PRMS Reserves Applied Technology Workshops in Mexico, Peru, London, Dubai and Abu Dhabi, an EAGE Distinguished Lecturer 2014-2015 and has published several SPE papers in the area of reserves and resources estimation.
