Ms. Ghofrane LAOUINI
Student Engineer “University of Tunis El Manar”
Ms. Ghofrane LAOUINI is a recently graduate Geoscience Engineer as laureate from the Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences of Tunis, with a major in Petroleum Engineering. As a student, she profited from a training which allowed her to access a double competence, in field and in office. She studied General Geology and Earth Sciences Engineering disciplines, in addition to various field visits. Ms. LAOUINI has performed successfully a variety of internships with: “The Tunisian Company of Petroleum Activities (ETAP)”, The Cement Plant (Les Ciments de Bizerte), “The Tunisian Company for Refining Industries (STIR)”, “The National Office of Mines (ONM)”, “A Geophysics and Hydrogeology Office” (GeoPro), as well as “The Laboratory Center for Petroleum Research and Development (CRDP)”. Her last year Graduation internship was with “Shell Upstream Tunisia». Her skills include a good working knowledge of programs such as Petrel, Techlog, ArcGIS, and the MS Office suite. During the pursuit of her degree, Ms. Ghofrane LAOUINI was very active in many facets of university life. She completed a number of internships around her university campus, working for small business owners. This gave her an outlet to apply theoretical knowledge and also sparked her interest in Petroleum engineering. Furthermore, she remained engaged in university affairs by volunteering for the Student Ambassador program.
